ACEL Group establishes subsidiary ACEL Iceland
To support Samherji Fiskeldi’s project and strengthen its international presence, ACEL Group has established ACEL Iceland. The contract represents a significant step in ACEL’s targeted strategy, reinforcing the company’s position in international markets.
The establishment of ACEL Iceland enables the company to serve the Icelandic aquaculture sector and maritime industries in the future.
“Iceland shares many similarities with Norway, a strong maritime tradition, a growing aquaculture sector, and access to renewable energy. Establishing ACEL Iceland allows us to support this growing industry locally while strengthening our position as a long-term technology and project partner.” - Anders Vedlog CEO ACEL Group
ACEL ICELAND & RECRUITMENT
The establishment of ACEL Iceland creates new opportunities to grow the team in a targeted way both in Iceland and across existing locations. ACEL is strengthening its recruitment focus beyond the Ålesund region and will consider candidates from across Norway as well as applicants who want to build their career locally in Iceland. Some roles will be based in Iceland, while others may be based in Norway with travel and close collaboration with the Icelandic team.
Applications are now open for candidates who want to contribute to ACEL Group’s international growth and deliver safe, high-quality projects in land-based aquaculture and the wider maritime value chain.
