Norwegian propulsion specialist Servogear has secured a contract to supply Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) systems for two 33-metre Supa Swath crew transfer vessels (CTVs) ordered by Mainprize Offshore from Strategic Marine.
The vessels, expected for delivery in Q3 2027, will support offshore wind operations in Europe, with increased capacity and extended range.
The contract builds on Servogear's experience in the offshore wind sector. The company has previously delivered CPP systems for Mainprize Offshore's MO9, MO10 and MO11, currently operating in European waters.
"We look forward to delivering systems that give these vessels the speed, thrust and efficiency the offshore wind market demands," said Sales Manager Bjørn Svendsen. CEO Anita Alsaker said the contract supports Servogear's strategy to deliver efficient and reliable propulsion solutions for offshore vessels.
