Lita Ocean Pte Ltd, SeaTech Solutions International (SSI) and Pascal Technologies have signed a contract for the design and construction of a 15-metre, 29-passenger fully electric passenger vessel — the first vessel in Asia to incorporate Pascal’s AirHull technology. Lita Ocean will serve as owner, builder, and operator of the vessel.
The contract was signed at Singapore Maritime Week 2026 marking a significant milestone in Norwegian-Singapore maritime green technology cooperation.
The vessel combines SSI’s vessel design expertise with Pascal’s energy-efficient AirHull technology, which uses a fan to push air beneath the hull, reducing resistance and cutting energy consumption by 30-50%. Running on a fully electric drivetrain, the vessel is designed for service speeds of up to 22 knots. The vessel is purpose-built for Singapore’s coastal waters.
“This contract marks an exciting new chapter for AirHull technology in Asia. Lita Ocean and SeaTech Solutions have shown tremendous commitment and vision in bringing this project to life, and we are proud to support them in delivering a vessel that sets a new standard for sustainable, high-speed maritime transport in the region.” Says Carl Fredrik Rehn, CEO, Pascal Technologies
