Maritime Montering has been awarded a turnkey contract by Spanish shipbuilder Zamakona Yards to outfit the accommodation areas for a new hybrid live fish carrier ordered by Trident Aqua Services. Designed by Salt Ship Design and scheduled for delivery in 2028, the vessel will be the fourth that Trident commissions from Zamakona.

This project is a sister vessel to Maritime Montering’s earlier contract with Zamakona (NB808), signed earlier this year. “A new contract places us on a very good track toward an even stronger partnership with Zamakona Shipyard. We are proud to contribute our interior expertise to our shared projects and help create vessels of high quality,” says Asgeir Hope, Senior Sales Manager at Maritime Montering Norway.

Under the turnkey contract, Maritime Montering will deliver the complete accommodation package for a total of 15 crew. This includes interior architecture, marine furniture production, installation, and all related technical outfitting within the crew and living areas.

STRENGTHEN PRESENCE IN THE SPANISH MARKET
With this project, Maritime Montering continues to strengthen its presence in the Spanish market and reinforces its position in the wellboat and aquaculture segment — delivering modern, comfortable, and efficient living and working environments for crews operating at sea.
