Cflow is strengthening its international presence by establishing a local branch in Iceland. The expansion marks an important milestone in the company’s continued growth and confirms Iceland as a strategically important market with significant potential for Cflow’s solutions.

“Iceland is a market we strongly believe in. The country has a progressive aquaculture industry, a high level of technological maturity, and strong players with high expectations for quality and execution. This aligns well with what Cflow stands for,” says Stig Bjørkedal, CEO of Cflow.

STRONG MARKET POSITION THROUGH A PRESTIGIOUS PROJECT
Cflow’s establishment in Iceland builds on experience the company has already gained in the market. Today, Cflow is delivering solutions to the prestigious Salmon Garden project for the seafood group Samherji Fiskeldi, one of the most ambitious land-based aquaculture projects in Iceland.

This project has been particularly important for Cflow’s commercial development in the market.

“Our collaboration with Samherji Fiskeldi and the delivery to Salmon Garden have been an important gateway into the Icelandic market. It confirms that our solutions meet the requirements of some of the most experienced and competent players in the industry,” says Thomas Håberg, Sales Manager at Cflow.

CLOSER COLLABORATION AND STRONGER PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
By establishing a local branch, Cflow will be closer to customers, projects, and decision-making processes in the Icelandic market. This creates better conditions for close collaboration throughout the entire project lifecycle. It is precisely at the intersection of advanced process technology and demanding project execution that Cflow delivers the greatest value for land-based facilities.

Experience from ongoing collaboration has given Cflow strong respect for both the professional expertise and working methods within the Icelandic aquaculture industry.

“We experience Icelandic industry players as highly competent and very accessible to work with. There is a short distance from decision to action, combined with clear expectations for quality at every stage. Close collaboration and a strong understanding of customer needs are essential to succeed in complex projects, and this is where we see the greatest value in our investment in Iceland,” Håberg adds.

ACTIVE MARKET POSITIONING
As part of the establishment, Cflow will also act as a conference partner at the Icelandic Aquaculture and Ocean Forum (IAOF) later this spring, a key meeting place for the aquaculture and ocean industries in Iceland.

The Iceland establishment is part of Cflow’s overall growth strategy, which combines international expansion with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and long-term partnerships.
